As part of the Project Management team, the Digital Project Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of programs, tools and process improvements to support on-going program and file management practices.
The Digital Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining program-level repositories across the different Staples divisions. They will support the Lead on program related questions and will work closely with various stakeholders such as Product & Project Managers, Finance, IT, Vendors and Senior Leadership.

Some of what you will do:
As part of the Project Management team, the Digital Project Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of programs, tools and process improvements to support on-going program and file management practices.
The Digital Project Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining program-level repositories across the different Staples divisions. They will support the Lead on program related questions and will work closely with various stakeholders such as Product & Project Managers, Finance, IT, Vendors and Senior Leadership.
Specifically, You Will
- Assist with end-to-end vendor and financial processes, including contract management, invoice processing, finance coordination, and budget tracking and forecasting.
- Provide Jira administration by supporting projects and spaces, workflows, and user access, and supporting teams with setup, training, and troubleshooting.
- Support digital PMO operations by updating SharePoint and Confluence websites, managing shared inboxes, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Support product management by developing templates, schedules, and documentation, and by coordinating updates and communications across stakeholders.
- Assist in process improvements by identifying gaps, recommending solutions, and executing initiatives aligned with the Digital Portfolio Roadmap
- Minimum college and/or university degree or equivalent experience
- CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is an asset
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
- Knowledge in Project Management concepts and methodologies, both Agile and Waterfall
- Experience in using and administering Jira and Confluence
- Experience in Azure DevOps, an asset)
- Familiarity with website development and practices is an asset.
- 2 years of Administrative or Project Coordination experience within IT, Digital, Retail, or similar
- Familiarity with processing purchase orders, budget creation, change orders, and project closeout
- Highly skilled at database and file management
- Excellent customer service and office administrative skills
- Optimistic, perceptive, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy
