Who We're Looking For
The Asset Analyst is responsible for the daily operations and long-term strategy of managing hardware and software assets across the organization. This role ensures compliance with vendor contracts, supports infrastructure transformation initiatives, and maintains accurate asset data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and business acumen, with the ability to bridge IT operations and procurement functions.

Who We're Looking For
The Asset Analyst is responsible for the daily operations and long-term strategy of managing hardware and software assets across the organization. This role ensures compliance with vendor contracts, supports infrastructure transformation initiatives, and maintains accurate asset data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and business acumen, with the ability to bridge IT operations and procurement functions.
What You'll Do
- Manage the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, ensuring compliance with licensing and procurement policies.
- Maintain and improve the CMDB and ITAM systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with infrastructure transformation teams to keep asset data current during migrations and transitions.
- Identify and close gaps in ITAM processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement procedures for asset tracking, quality control, and lifecycle management.
- Act as a liaison between business users and procurement for IT asset needs.
- Support vendor management, contract tracking, and software licensing compliance.
- Provide reporting and insights on asset utilization, lifecycle trends, and cost optimization.
- Support purchase order creation
- Support platform costing Support software purchases in Excel until the software details can be uploaded to Service Now
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office (especially excel) is required
- Good communication skills are necessary
- Self-starter, motivated and results oriented collaborator
- Detail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and have an ability to find creative solutions
- Strong teamwork skills, but ability to work independently
- 1+ years of ServiceNow knowledge
- Working knowledge of Oracle HCM and Oracle eBiz
- Familiar with PowerBI
