We are currently seeking friendly, enthusiastic individuals to join our team for fall/winter seasonal employment within our Wineshop. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with guests, share knowledge about our wines, and contribute to a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will have excellent customer service skills, a passion for wine, and the ability to work flexible hours during the week, and can work weekends.

Wage based on Experience and Education

As a Wine Shop Associate, you will...

• Guide guests through informative wine-tasting experiences
• Share knowledge about different wine varieties and the winemaking process
• Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for visitors
• Answer guests' questions and provide recommendations based on their tastes
• Assist with wine sales and suggest pairings
• Conduct winery tours to share the story of the estate and its wines
• Ensure guests have a memorable, enjoyable experience

Requirements

• 1-2 years of customer service and sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to stand for some periods of time, and routinely lift up to 40 pounds
• A passion for wine and educating others on it
• A current Serving It Right certificate
• WSET education is an asset
• Secondary language is an asset
• 4 days of availability is preferred
• Must be at least 19 years of age
