Some Of What You Will Do

The Print & Marketing Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is accountable for driving sales and profit growth within their assigned sales force region.

Through the direct management of 12-15, SBDM, BDMs, AMs in territory, the TSM is responsible for establishing, building, and growing a sales team focused on selling Print products and services to mid-sized businesses. Aligned with Staples retail stores, this position must deliver incremental new sales growth annually through business development, people development and account management efforts.

The TSM is responsible for advancing their sales team productivity and assessing the integrity of operational standards within the program. The TSM will coach and model behaviours that drive results in all facets of the business that are aligned to the company and divisional strategy. The TSM will work directly with the NSM to implement strategy to the sales team.

Will manage regional sales volumes in excess of $5M annually.

Specifically, You Will

  • Lead a high-performing sales team to exceed revenue and margin targets.
  • Drive customer growth by expanding key accounts and acquiring new business.
  • Support sales calls and coach teams to improve selling strategies.
  • Streamline operations to boost sales productivity and reduce non-selling time.
  • Ensure excellence in customer service and sales process execution.
  • Develop talent through training, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate on vendor negotiations to secure competitive pricing.

Some Of What You Need

  • 7–10 years of senior B2B sales experience, including leading sales teams.
  • Proven success in exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  • High business acumen with experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to inspire teams, manage performance, and develop talent.
