Expected Salary Range: $72,633.00 - $90,792.00 - $113,490.00

JOB SUMMARY
The Workforce Planning Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making by analyzing workforce data and trends to ensure optimal staffing levels and resource allocation. This role involves forecasting workforce needs, identifying gaps, and providing actionable insights to support business objectives. The analyst collaborates closely with areas within People & Culture; specifically, Operations, Business Enablement, Recruiting and Learning and Development to develop data-driven workforce plans that align with BCLC’s Corporate goals. The role will support the Senior Specialist and Manager, Workforce Planning in developing programs to support the workforce planning framework, methodologies and processes.

- Applies specialized knowledge for visualization and insight generation. Delivers analytics products that assist in analyzing data to forecast workforce needs and conduct assessments to ensure the organization has the right people to deliver to its goals.
- Collaborates with People Insights team to help shape predictive modeling and forecasting.
- Transforms data into meaningful business insights and actionable plans and communicates opportunities and workforce trends to senior leaders in the business.
- Delivers workforce planning solutions by analyzing workforce data, identifying skill gaps, and developing targeted action plans.
- Facilitates strategic discussions on workforce trends, predictive resourcing, and future talent requirements.
- Utilizes data-driven forecasting and capability assessments to ensure BCLC is equipped with the right talent to deliver exceptional gambling entertainment now and into the future.
- Contributes to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Partners with People & Culture (P&C) and business leaders to align workforce plans with business objectives and embed standardized planning practices.
- Collaborates with the Recruitment team to ensure workforce planning supports hiring strategies.
- Works with the Business Enablement Partners and Learning & Developing to facilitate succession planning and implement effective development programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
A combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills may be considered.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, such as Human Resources, Business Analysis, or Statistics;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in P&C Business Partnering combined with a solid understanding/ experience working with people workforce data and insights or related experience in previous roles involving strategic workforce planning;
- 3 years of relevant experience in development of data and analytic solutions, including a minimum of 3 years proven technical experience working within a complex business environment with the demonstrated ability to analyze business situations and develop innovative solutions.
KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Ability to translate data into actions and recommendations;
- Solid understanding of best practices in data visualizations and storytelling to diverse stakeholders;
- Strong technical writing skills, and able to write reports and document procedures;
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
- Strong business acumen to align both business objectives and P&C strategies with corporate goals to maximize shareholder value;
- Solid demonstration of problem solving and analytical thinking skills in addressing complex technical challenges;
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
- Strong communication skills to explain complex information in an effective manner;
- Strong collaboration skills working both within and across the organization, at all levels;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred qualifications may include:
- Basic understanding of workforce planning and analytics is a plus;
- CHRP designation is an asset;
- Understanding of Agile methodology or experience working with a cross-functional team environment would be an asset;
- Understanding of B.C. gaming industry would be an asset.
