Join our team as a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide! Casual opportunity available.

As a Housekeeping and Laundry Aide under the direction of the Environmental Services Manager, you play an essential role in cleaning and infection prevention of the home environment as well as creating a positive resident experience for those we serve.

In this role your duties include but are not limited to:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, garbage collection, cleaning of washrooms
• Monitoring and restocking inventory and operation of housekeeping equipment as required
• Laundering of linen and clothing
• Maintenance of the laundry room

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Grade 12 secondary diploma
• Previous housekeeping experience in a Long Term Care setting
• Demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education
• Understand oral and written instructions
