Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, from initial concept to coordinating all details for succession transition to on-site teams to execute
- Respond to inquiries for corporate, social, holiday, sports team, and wedding events across all JPC locations
- Prospect and secure new group bookings, building relationships that bring fresh energy to our venues
- Finalizes event agreements, ensuring clear terms, pricing, and policies are communicated and agreed upon by clients
- Manages all aspects of the event booking process including proposals, contracts, deposits, coordinating event details, completing conference summary agenda's and finalize billing
- Manages sales pipeline; tracks leads, follows up on inquiries, and maintains an organized customer relationship management system to monitor booking progress and client communications.
- Conduct Site Tours at all JPC locations, showcasing all the unique locations and opportunities to host events
- Collaborate with each location and kitchen team to maximize event opportunities and revenue
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as food and beverage, location Manager’s and external vendors to ensure seamless event delivery
- Coordinate and communicate event details with on-site teams to ensure seamless execution of client expectations, including thorough hand-off of all plans, preferences, and logistics to guarantee alignment and guest satisfaction
- Serve as on-site contact for events when needed, keeping things smooth, stylish, and stress-free
- Represent JPC at tradeshows and industry events and generate leads for potential business
- Build strong relationships with local Meeting Planners, Wedding Planners, and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMO’s) to keep JPC top of mind
- Stays up to date with industry trends

Necessary Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in event planning and management are required
- Sales experience
- Ability to market our locations, build strong customer relationships and provide excellent customer is a must
- Strong negotiation, closing, and communication skills are essential
- Proven ability to build sales, meet quotas through various strategies of networking and promotion
- Attention to detail with integrity to elevate the guest experience
- Highly organized, accountable and ability to prioritize
- Professional in written and spoken communication and brand representation
- Advanced practical application MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM’s and Catering Software Systems

- Location: Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada
- Salary: 60,000 - 65,000 per year
