ETL Tester

About The Role

As an ETL Tester, you will make an impact by ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines that support critical business operations. You will be a valued member of the Data Quality & Engineering team and work collaboratively with developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to validate data transformations and integrations across enterprise systems.

In This Role, You Will

• Design and execute test cases for ETL processes, validating data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple platforms.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect tracking to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
• Automate ETL testing using tools such as SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide actionable feedback to improve data quality.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

• 8+ years of experience in ETL testing and data validation.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and test automation.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or HP ALM.

• Experience testing in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
• Exposure to healthcare, finance, or retail domains.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
