Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer with operations across North America, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain to lead and transform its end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance performance, improve efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination between demand, production, and distribution. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Director will play a critical role in advancing operational excellence, optimizing resources, and driving measurable business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.

Job Summary
Our client, a leading industrial manufacturer with operations across North America, is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Supply Chain to lead and transform its end-to-end supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance performance, improve efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination between demand, production, and distribution. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the Director will play a critical role in advancing operational excellence, optimizing resources, and driving measurable business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.
The Role
- Provide strategic leadership across planning, procurement, logistics, and order management functions to strengthen overall supply chain performance.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy focused on cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and risk mitigation.
- Lead the deployment and continuous refinement of an integrated Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Utilize ERP systems to enhance data visibility, decision-making, and operational agility.
- Partner with Finance to oversee supply chain budgets, track KPIs, and support business performance objectives.
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and address process bottlenecks, improve fulfillment performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and goal achievement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (advanced education or professional certification is an asset).
- Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in supply chain management within a multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency with ERP systems and deep understanding of S&OP principles.
- Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, production planning, and operational process improvement.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with a collaborative leadership approach.
- Proven ability to develop and coach high-performing teams while fostering a culture of excellence and engagement.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growth-oriented organization.
- Willingness to travel across North America as required .
