Digital Media Assistant - Casual

Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Access to Information Supervisor, specializes in retrieving and presenting digital media from a variety of sources, creating both clips and stills as required.
1. Utilizes a variety of digital imaging software programs to retrieve images and clips for storage.
2. Manages, organizes and prepares digital media incorporating appropriate cataloguing and retention periods on applicable Regina Police Service software programs.
3. Interact and liaise with internal staff if needed regarding the digital media questions and requests.
4. Other related duties as assigned
Competencies
1. Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent is required.
2. Certificate or diploma in Office Education from a recognized educational institution or equivalent education.
3. Experience in a computer and/or graphics related field an asset
4. Experience in using digital imaging and photo editing software an asset.
5. Knowledge of IEIS information system an asset. Must have the ability to understand business processes and work with limited supervision.
6. The ability to use effective time management skills in order to manage workload and meet deadlines in an efficient and productive manner.
7. The ability to organize large amounts of data and problem solve.
8. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $27.13-$32.59 per hour
