About The Role
As a Licensed Millwright at Cargill, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical expertise will directly support food production.
What You Need
- Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
- Valid Millwright License
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and various shifts
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Operate motorized vehicles and equipment
- Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Welding certification or other trade experience
- Forklift certification
- Familiarity with MRO/MRP systems
- Knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance
