Delivery Project Lead- Java Developer

Position Title: Java Technology –Lead

Location: Calgary, Canada

Job Summary-

• Hands on knowledge on Core Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, PCF, Mongo DB

Years of Experience needed -

• 6 to 8 years with hands

Technical Skills:

• Hands on experience in Core Java, SpringBoot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, PCF, Mongo DB


• Overall, 6 to 8 years’ experience as a developer


• 2 to 5 years exp in Core Java, SpringBoot


• Min. 2 years’ experience in designing/developing Microservices in cloud environment


• Experience in Rest API


• Working knowledge in PCF


• Experience in RabbitMQ is a good to have


• Able to lead the team and solve their technical problems


• Experience in ATDD


• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies


• Experience in Code refactoring and implementing best practices


• Good analytical skills in Requirement analysis and Suggestions for improvements, identify requirement gaps


• Exposure to creation of high-level and low-level design document


• Should have experience in coding with standard and able to deliver code independently


• Able to trouble shoot and provide quick resolution.


• Experience in peer review and exposure to following organizational process.


• Experience in impact analysis and defect analysis


• Should be able to follow Mphasis process


• Should be able to follow Schwab process


• Should have worked in Agile environment


• Good team Player and servant leader


• Self-Driven; self-starter; initiator


• Takes accountability and ownership of tasks assigned


• A problem solver, who can find his way around when there is no one to provide a solution and take it team along

• Good Mentoring skills; able to provide guidance/training to the team


• Able to lead an offshore team

Certifications needed -

• Springboot, PCF certifications
