Hatch is seeking a highly motivated Architectural Student for a four (4) months term in our Mississauga location starting in January 2026. During this time, the student will work closely with professionals at all levels of the company including Architects, Engineers, Intern Architects, Technologists, and Interior Designers. The student will support the team on various projects globally, whilst gaining valuable experience to advance your education and career.

- Assist in the production of deliverables to illustrate conceptual, schematic, and detailed design including massing models, diagrams, isometrics, sketches, presentation material, brochures, etc.
- Assist with administrative tasks like setup lunch & learn sessions, organize sample libraries, perform CAD work for office standards, collect and organize reference information, etc.
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or diploma program in Architecture at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Produced presentation material including sketches, details, perspectives, diagrams, and similar graphic representation by hand and/or with design software (including Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint etc.)
- Worked with two-dimensional drafting software for production of drawings such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc. Has worked with BIM modelling software such as Revit, Civil3D, OpenBuildings, etc.
- Has knowledge of tridimensional modelling software such as SketchUp, 3Ds Max, FormIt, Vray, Lumion, etc. to produce massing models, renderings, and animations.
- Ability to learn new procedures, skills, software, and tools required to perform the work.
- Good understanding of architectural and business fundamentals as they apply to architectural problems and projects
- Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving, and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges
