Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing project sites
- Loading/Unloading and setting up of project equipment (hoses, pumping tubes, waterlines, etc.)
- Digging trenches followed by backfilling, and compacting of excavations
- Assisting with the operations of various equipment and tools
- Secure work area and set up traffic control
- Other duties as required
- Flexibility to work- out-of-town supporting our customers or other GFL BU’s.
- High school diploma or relevant experience
- Must be clean shaven (when required project related)
- Must have a G license at minimum
- Available Monday-Friday (for a day shift) and on-call on weekends every 4th weekend
- Good verbal communication skills and able to work in TEAM environment
- Must be able to safely 50 lbs.
- Commitment to health and safety
- Ability to follow instructions
