Description

ACTIVE Network, part of Global Payments Inc., is seeking a driven, self-motivated Implementation Specialist to deliver technical services across ACTIVE’s enterprise software platforms. Services will be delivered across market segments and include database, platform, and infrastructure management (moves, upgrades), system integrations, and hardware configuration. The position works directly with our clients remotely and onsite throughout North America. Intake and analyze business problems then establish and deploy technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional planning and scoping sessions with ACTIVE and client project stakeholders
  • Design and Implement hardware, software, and data integration solutions with customers that satisfy their business needs
  • Coordinate all day-to-day details for implementations
  • Develop and manage technology deployment strategies
  • Develop and deploy end user training plan applicable
  • Work with Project Manager to execute implementations according to plan
  • Work with Project Consultants to coordinate functional requirements with deliverables
  • Work with Support Analysts to facilitate handoff as project closes

  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills
  • Quick to adapt to new environments/technologies and able to grasp complex business processes
  • Ability to manage expectations, facilitation skills and a knack for turning conflict into positive outcomes
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done
  • Undergraduate degree or technical diploma
  • Proven experience handling enterprise level customer projects
  • 2+ years of software deployment experience is an asset
  • Business experience in one or more of the following markets is an asset: Ski & Attractions, Government, Parks and Recreation, Education, Not for Profit, Endurance, Sports.
  • Technical experience with computer and network architecture, database schematics, APIs, and SQL. Certifications or professional designations in this area are an asset.
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with ACTIVE’s software solutions are an asset
  • Understand and communicate accounting best practices
