Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Associate Lawyer located in Calgary, AB. The Associate Lawyer will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings. The role entails providing legal advice, collaborating with other legal professionals, and meeting with clients to discuss their cases and needs.

Qualifications

• Strong legal research skills and the ability to draft legal documents
• Court experience is a major asset
• Experience with litigation and representing clients in court proceedings
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in managing a diverse caseload and providing legal advice
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta (or eligible to be so)
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school (Canadian law schools preferred)
