About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team in the province of Quebec. In this pivotal role, you will be the cornerstone of our cloud infrastructure, responsible for designing, building, automating, and securing our entire Azure ecosystem. You will lead critical initiatives in cloud architecture, DevOps, and cybersecurity, while also providing senior-level support for our platform and users.

What You Will Do

  • Azure Application & Service Deployment
    • Deploy, configure, and manage business-critical applications, servers (Windows/Linux), and PaaS services in the Azure cloud.
    • Automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Bicep.
    • Develop and maintain PowerShell or Python scripts to streamline deployment pipelines and enforce configuration standards.
  • Zero-Trust Security & Cloud Networking
    • Architect and implement solutions based on Zero-Trust principles, managing network controls like firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), and network security groups.
    • Configure and manage core cloud networking services, including Azure VNet, VLANs, site-to-site VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
    • Manage identity and access using Entra ID, implementing Conditional Access policies and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure least-privilege access.
  • Microsoft 365 & Intune Endpoint Management
    • Administer the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
    • Deploy and manage Windows and mobile devices via Intune, creating and enforcing compliance and configuration policies.
    • Support conditional access and device-based authentication mechanisms to secure the environment.
  • Documentation & Collaboration
    • Create and maintain clear SOPs, architectural diagrams, technical runbooks, and onboarding documentation.
    • Implement and document best practices for infrastructure design, including Zero-Trust and micro-segmentation models.
    • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams using Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).
Who You Are

  • 5+ years in system administration with a strong focus on the Azure cloud.
  • Expertise in deploying and managing applications in Azure IaaS and PaaS.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep) and automation scripting (PowerShell).
  • Deep understanding of Zero-Trust architecture and experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Intune.
  • Proficiency in cloud networking, including configuration and management of Firewalls, VNets/VLANs, WAF, site-to-site VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-700) are a strong asset.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a Canadian citizen and a legal resident of the province of Quebec
  • Must possess a valid passport and be authorized to travel to the United States and other global locations.
  • This is a 100% remote role with potential travel requirements to the U.S. and international offices.
