Position Overview

Calian ITCS is currently seeking an HPE Edgeline Installation Contractor for a short contract opportunity to perform the following duties:

Responsibilities

To upgrade current HPE EL 1000 device in order to upgrade current 5G capabilities to 5G Stand Alone. Hardware has already been purchased. We just need someone to install it.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of 5G Standalone core network architecture and edge computing integration.
  • Proven experience with HPE Edgeline systems or similar industrial edge hardware.
  • Skilled in network device configuration, firmware upgrades, and integration of 3GPP-compliant cellular modems.
  • Knowledge of Linux OS and networking stacks is advantageous.
  • Experience designing and deploying private 5G networks, ideally with HPE or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., 5G technical certifications, HPE training, Cisco networking).
  • Minimum 5+ years in telecommunications, network engineering, or systems integration roles.
