Position Summary

As our Procurement and Inventory Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing inventory, purchasing, and supply chain logistics. You will track lot numbers and expiry dates, issue purchase orders, coordinate shipments and receipts, and ensure compliance with FEFO inventory management principles. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track lot numbers and expiry dates to ensure FEFO inventory management
  • Issue and manage purchase orders with Canadian suppliers
  • Perform receiving, shipping, and inventory management tasks
  • Support supply chain logistics across Canada
  • Conduct weekly physical inventory and report inventory variances
  • Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records in CIN7 and manual systems
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and track deliveries
  • Participate in cost-reduction initiatives and supply chain optimization projects
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by the Procurement and Inventory Manager

Experience

Candidate Profile:

  • 1–3 years in inventory, purchasing, or supply chain roles, ideally in the food or pharmaceutical industry
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Education / Training

  • Post-secondary education required
  • SCMP certification is a plus

Other Requirements

  • Ability to lift/move 20 kg packages
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a bonus)
  • Work hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Remote work only with permission
