Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a Network/Security Analyst for an initial 6 month contract working onsite. In this role you’ll work across the organization to prevent, detect, and respond to risks, leveraging your expertise in network and network controls, as well as in security domains, risk.

Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a Network/Security Analyst for an initial 6 month contract working onsite. In this role you’ll work across the organization to prevent, detect, and respond to risks, leveraging your expertise in network and network controls, as well as in security domains, risk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sustain and manage Network Access Control (NAC) tools and processes
- Sustain and manage network firewalls
- Perform troubleshooting and incident response using a variety of tools and methods
- Communicate with all levels of the company - excellent communication skills. Be able to move between abstract concepts and detailed design and relate one to the other, proactive, analytical, able to triage situations and prioritize, and “always learning”
- 10 years of technical experience in enterprise environments with a University degree, or technical diploma in an applicable field. Certifications such as CISSP or SANS are an asset
- Detailed knowledge of and experience with the operation of enterprise network firewalls (Palo Alto preferred)
- Detailed knowledge of and experience with delivery and operation of enterprise Network Access Control (Forescout Counteract preferred)
- Detailed knowledge of and experience with the enterprise operation of core security technologies, such as firewalls, EDR, and vulnerability scanning
- Ability to investigate and evaluate network traffic, read and interpret logs and packet captures
- Detailed knowledge of fundamental network and Internet technologies and their implementation; for example, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL/TLS and PKI, SSH
- Skills and experience in other areas such as databases, automation, operational technology (ICS/SCADA/DCS), data science, cloud services an asset
- Scripting and/or programming skills
