Guidewire Integration Developer:

On behalf of our Insurance client, Procom is searching for a Guidewire Integration Developer for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position at one our client’s offices in Regina, Edmonton, or Winnipeg.


Guidewire Integration Developer - Job Description:

The Guidewire Integration Developer will be involved in developing and maintaining integrations within Insurance Suite applications. The role focuses on handling defect fixes and implementing business-prioritized enhancements to support the client's digital transformation initiatives.


Guidewire Integration Developer - Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain integrations using Guidewire APIs, Gosu, Java, SOAP/REST web services, IG, and messaging frameworks.
• Implement batch processes, event messaging, and plugin-based integrations with third-party systems.
• Configure and extend the Guidewire data model, including PCFs, product models, and underwriting rules.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues.
  
  
  

Guidewire Integration Developer - Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, JSON, and SQL.
• Experience with Guidewire APIs, SOAP/REST, Messaging, and Plugins.
• Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud and AWS.
• Competence in using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong skills in Unit Testing and API Test Frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum, SurePath, and CI/CD methodologies.
  
  
  

Guidewire Integration Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Guidewire Ace Certification.
• Experience with IntelliJ.
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.

This is a 1-year contract with the potential for extension.
