The Manager, Sales Operations serves as a strategic partner to SmartSkin’s entire go-to-market organization, driving sales performance through data-driven insights, process optimization, and technology enablement. This role is accountable for developing and executing operational strategies that enhance efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with deep CRM expertise and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The Manager, Sales Operations serves as a strategic partner to SmartSkin’s entire go-to-market organization, driving sales performance through data-driven insights, process optimization, and technology enablement. This role is accountable for developing and executing operational strategies that enhance efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented problem solver with deep CRM expertise and a proven ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize sales processes, tools, and workflows to drive productivity, accountability, and scalability across the sales organization.
- Deliver actionable reporting and analytics on pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, conversion metrics, and performance KPIs to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success to ensure seamless alignment, efficient handoffs, and shared accountability for revenue outcomes.
- Champion data integrity and governance initiatives to maintain accurate, reliable information that supports strategic planning and executive insight.
- Develop and standardize operating procedures and best practices for sales operations, territory management, and lead management.
- Lead annual planning and performance cycles, including territory design, quota setting, and capacity planning.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to Sales Leadership, leveraging data and insights to identify opportunities for growth, process excellence, and continuous improvement across the go-to-market organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related field, ideally in a SaaS or B2B technology environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, with experience in forecasting, pipeline management, custom reports and dashboards, and data validation.
- Demonstrated success in driving adoption of processes, systems, and tools across a distributed sales team.
- Strong analytical mindset with expertise in data visualization, performance metrics, and forecasting.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence senior stakeholders, and manage competing priorities.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to operational excellence, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying issues, driving improvements, and maintaining operational excellence.
- While this role offers some flexibility, regular in-person collaboration at our Fredericton, NB head office is preferred.
