Job summary: 


We are looking for an entrepreneurial therapist to join the Sit With Us team! If you’ve ever dreamed of working in private practice, without having to actually set up all the systems by yourself, and be part of a supportive community, this is the place for you! 


For the self-motivated, high achieving provider, this role is designed to give you full autonomy as an independent practitioner while working as part of a team! Set your own hours (subject to space availability), and work when it works for you. 


We work with a wide variety of clients including but not limited to those experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, grief, neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and other life challenges. Compensation: 


The initial agreement is a 60/40 revenue share model with 60% of billings to the clinician and 40% of billings to business overhead. Further opportunities for advanced earnings are available over time with our Private Practice Pathway. 


Scheduling & Vacation: 


This role has a flexible working arrangement. Work as many hours per week as you wish, and take as many unpaid vacation days as you wish, so long as you are maintaining an agreed upon minimum monthly billings per month. 


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Conducts new client consultations.
  • Supports clients with evidence-based treatment.
  • Comfortable facilitating virtual appointments. 
  • Marks client appointments as arrived, cancelled, or no show.
  • Re-schedules clients at the end of sessions or schedules return visit reminders.
  • Maintains complete and accurate chart notes of client sessions.
  • Maintains appropriate remote work environment, including confidential space, computer, and strong internet connection.
  • Responsible for upkeeping registration and insurance in a timely manner.
  • Further opportunities are available within the clinician’s strengths and interests such as developing worksheets, workshops, courses, and marketing materials under the Sit With Us umbrella.



Education, Training & Experience: 


  • Masters degree in Counselling, Social Work, or equivalent. 
  • Registration with BCACC, ACCT or similar regulatory body.
  • Ability to obtain professional & commercial liability Insurance.
  • Proficient with Google Suite, digital communication, and client management software.
  • Experienced in utilizing  & tracking performance metrics to enhance client satisfaction, and caseload growth. 
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize and adapt to the ebb and flow of daily responsibilities.
