Purpose

We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in Markham or Kincardine to assist in nuclear power plant projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare design change notice packages for electrical modifications, address design related field issues.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation including technical specifications, data sheets, elementary wiring diagrams, connection wiring diagrams, cable block diagrams.
  • Provide active support to field issues and field initiated changes and facilitate a positive outcome with construction teams.
  • Knowledge of MCC, power system design.
  • Interface with construction/procurement partners and utility stakeholders, throughout the lifecycle of the design project.

What You Will Bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

  • Relevant experience in electrical design is required.
  • Experience with nuclear projects is considered necessary. In depth knowledge and experience of use of appropriate nuclear codes and standards.
  • Good time management skills and demonstrated capability to interface effectively with customers.

Required

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • A Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
  • P. Eng (Ontario) designation preferred or to be able to register.
