The scope includes analog and mixed-signal circuits for the ultrasound front end, power regulation, high-speed digital interfaces, and FPGA/DSP collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Own schematic capture and support PCB layout for mixed-signal boards (front-end analog, ADC/DAC interfaces, power supplies, embedded interfaces).
- Perform bring-up and verification (oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum/network analyzers, logic analyzers); document test results and update specifications.
- Collaborate with FPGA/DSP and software teams on interface definitions, timing budgets, and integration plans.
- Support design controls: design inputs/outputs, verification protocols, and risk/traceability artifacts.
- Investigate issues and support CAPA; implement incremental improvements to address performance, EMC, and manufacturability.
- Work with suppliers/CMs on component selection, obsolescence alternatives, and manufacturability feedback.
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related).
- 3–6 years of board-level hardware design and bring-up (analog/mixed-signal).
- Experience with common lab equipment and EDA toolchains (e.g., Altium/Cadence; SPICE/Signal Integrity tools).
- Knowledge of high-speed digital buses (e.g., LVDS, SERDES), clocking, and power sequencing.
- Clear written documentation and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ultrasound front-end exposure (LNAs, T/R switching, pulsers) or other low-noise data-acquisition systems.
- EMC/IEC 60601-1-2 familiarity; DfM/DfT practices; experience in regulated environments.
