- Assisting in the review of mechanical write-ups and coordinate repair schedule
Mechanics must have:
- Completion of a recognized Heavy Duty Mechanic apprenticeship program and current certification as a Red Seal or B.C. Journeyperson.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license; ability to operate heavy-duty vehicles safely.
- Proven experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks and equipment, with strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards
- Exert physical effort including pushing, pulling, bending and lifting items up to 100 lbs.
