Automation Engineer / DevOps Specialist

On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking an Automation Engineer / DevOps Specialist to design and implement automation solutions that enhance data pipeline efficiency and reduce manual intervention. This role will develop AWS-based automation frameworks and CI/CD integrations to improve monitoring, recovery, and deployment of ETL workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build automation tools for ETL job orchestration and alerting.

• Develop AWS Lambda scripts and Step Function workflows to streamline support.

• Integrate CI/CD pipelines (CloudFormation or Terraform) for Glue job deployments.

• Implement monitoring, notifications, and automated recovery mechanisms.

Support optimization of AWS costs and performance tuning initiatives.
