Job Details
- Shift: 7/7,8/6, 14/14
- Compensation:Competitive rates based on your experience
- Working Hours:12h
- Travel Pay:Ground and flight travel compensation
- Pre-Employment Conditions:Pre-access D&A test, Standard PPE
- Assembling, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls on all equipment.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and schematics to determine layout of HVAC equipment installations.
- Providing technical HVAC assistance to coworkers as required.
- Developing and conducting preventative maintenance programs and keeping up to date and accurate maintenance records.
- Carrying out soldering, brazing, welding and various other pipe joining techniques on or in relation to refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Maintaining and making electrical repairs to existing equipment from the breaker or disconnect switch as follows: Changing controls, contactors, motors and compressors; repairing burnt or broken wires; making minor upgrades of controls to existing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Install and calibrate related controls (including wiring).
- Startup systems, test lines to detect leaks, and record readings to ensure the system in functioning correctly.
- Submit recommendations and quotes to internal/external estimating teams, including technical details where required.
- Proactively seek new HVAC/Process opportunities.
- Ensure PTA cards are included as part of each job/task.
- Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
