THE ROLE
You will be responsible for producing construction documents, coordinating permit and by-law compliance, and collaborating closely with design, engineering and construction teams from concept through to completion.
What’s Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (daily use). Architectural technologists or Interior Design Technologists are welcome to apply.
- Thorough knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and municipal by-laws in Alberta
- Experience across a range of project types (commercial, residential preferred)
- Ability to translate design intent into detailed construction documentation
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment with multiple simultaneous projects
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and an organized approach to project deliverables
- Ability to coordinate with consultants, contractors, municipal authorities and internal teams
- Preferred: experience with contract administration, site reviews and construction coordination
