True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for customer service-driven and reliable Concession Cashiers to join our team at The Burton Cummings Theatre.

As part of the Concession team, you will provide quick and efficient service to customers and perform a variety of duties relating to cafeteria-style service, including cold food preparation, stocking counters and steam tables, and maintaining sanitation standards.

What to be excited for in this role:
  • Check and stock supplies in counter area neatly, accurately, and in a timely fashion as per menu.
  • Inform stand leader in a timely manner when food quantities are low or special requests.
  • Clean equipment and utensils.
  • Keep counter and floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and explain same to customers accurately.
  • Demonstrate complete understanding of department policies and procedures.
  • Relay relevant comments received from customers directly to supervisor.
  • Primary function of serving quick service items including Popcorn, candy, soft drinks.
  • Comply with sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness.
  • Greet customers and take their orders.
  • Check orders to ensure that guest is receiving a complete and correct order.
  • Collect payment from guests.
  • Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently solve customer concerns with the utmost professionalism.
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
