Senior Business Analyst

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to document and determine the scope (as-is and to-be processes, detailed requirements) and contribute/develop business cases, RFI, etc. for multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate data gathering sessions;

• Document as-is, including as-is process maps

• Develop Business, Functional, and Technical Requirements ;

• Develop To-Be Process Maps

• Assist in the RFP and/or RFI process;

• Business Case

• Other Deliverables as outlined by the Manager, IS Planning

• Implementation Tasks and Deliverables, such as contributing/writing detailed design documents, and creation of test scripts. For the implementation tasks and deliverables, they will take direction from the appropriate project manager.

Qualifications:

• Excellent analytical skills;

• Experience in producing requirements, detailed design documents, and process mapping;

• Experience in Business Case development, RFI, and RFP

• Knowledge about the utility industry and/or IT Tools such as ITSM (IT Service Management) is an asset

• Good communication and facilitation skills;

o Effective organizational skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate priorities and deliver high-quality and timely results under tight deadlines.

o Demonstrated ability to speak effectively in formal and informal meetings and presentations across all levels of the organization

• Demonstrated ability to conduct research, analyze and solve problems, summarize results, and make decisions or recommendations based upon thorough analysis
