You are not afraid to pick up the phone, call customers or contact carriers and address challenges head on to ensure we provide the best service possible. Every day, we thrive on our customers’ success in partnering with us, so we are looking for an Account Manager who wants to grow their book of business to successful new heights.


As an Account Manager on our Boomer Fresh Team, you’ll be part of our operations team, supporting a portfolio of customers while ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics operations. Transportation is time-sensitive and ever-changing—your ability to stay organized, adapt, and communicate effectively is what sets you apart. No two days are ever the same here and you will be challenged to learn and grow every day.


What to expect day to day:


Quote and price shipments: Provide accurate, competitive pricing based on customer needs and market conditions.

Track and monitor shipments: Ensure real-time updates and proactive communication with customers regarding delivery status, delays, or changes.

Manage suppliers: Coordinate and assign shipments to third-party carriers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Customer communication: Act as the primary contact for customers—respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships.

Problem-solving on the fly: Transportation is a fast-paced environment; things change quickly in our world, so we look for individuals who thrive on customer success and love an opportunity to tackle problem solving...head-on!

Ensuring accuracy: We love technology! We strive to use best-in-class technology across all systems to drive process and accuracy.

Collaborate with team members: Relationship builders – you care about your team and your customers, and that will come across in all your interactions. You’ll foster strong and long-term relationships with them by treating their business like your own business.


What you bring to the role:


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, you spot issues before they become problems.

• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in a high-volume environment.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Customer-first mindset—you care deeply about providing exceptional service.

• Collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).


Bonus if you have:

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related industry.

• Strong knowledge of North American trucking and freight markets.

• You are a great fit if you know the world of produce and refrigerated goods!
