The ideal candidate is passionate about music with experience working with on-demand platforms worldwide, metadata, database, and/or data analysis and task management. In order to manage delivery, curation, and optimization of video content for multiple Stingray on-demand partners around the world!

We are currently seeking for a Content Specialist to join our VOD team. Initially for our Qello Concerts and Music documentaries product, but the role could be extended to other products. This position reports to the VOD Manager.

Your day-to-day

  • Coordinate, manage and optimize our VOD offer for partners worldwide
  • Ensure delivery timelines and schedule is respected to complete timely delivery of new content to multiple VOD partners
  • Curate content programming tailored to different territories
  • Work closely with Content Analysts and Content Specialist to optimize offer and programming
  • Review and analyze content performances and trends for key international territories
  • Maintain and communicate release schedules and editorial highlights
  • Research key events and releases in key territories.
  • Optimize content performances & develop content strategies
  • Coordinate translation, copywriting, creative content and other related tasks
  • Improve content management process and tools
  • Assist in special projects related to product development
  • Assist affiliate sales and marketing

Your Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-year experience working with digital asset management and on-demand platforms
  • A minimum of 5-year experience in a fast paced, Int’l commercially focused media environment
  • A broad knowledge of various musical styles, genres and eras
  • Strong and tactful communication skills, both written and verbal (English, French)
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills and documents creation
  • Multilingual is a definite asset
  • Knowledge of task management software an asset (Jira, Wrike, Confluence)
  • Strong familiarity with pop culture, internet trends, on-line music services and social media
  • Proficient at Internet searches and info validation
