- MATH 101 - Calculus for Engineering and Physical Sciences II - 4 workload hours per week. The course is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30 am to 10:00 am and Fridays 8:30 am to 9:30 am

 Duties include preparation of lectures, assignments, tests, grading of submitted work, and holding regular office hours. The course is four lecture hours per week, scheduled through face-to-face classroom delivery at the Nanaimo campus.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to teaching, learning and student success through scholarship and institutional service. Successful candidates will participate in a wide range of activities outside the classroom, including student support; institutional, faculty and departmental committee meetings and other initiatives; and professional activities in keeping with their disciplines in and outside the institution.
Required Qualifications:
- MSc in mathematics or statistics from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (D2L, Moodle, etc).
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and commitment to a team-based working culture.
- A commitment to, and understanding of, the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in the classroom and workplace.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in mathematics or statistics from an appropriately accredited institution.
- A demonstrated record of teaching excellence at the post-secondary level.
