Job Description
Candidate will be required to carry Drywall, must be physically fit and can lift up to 75lbs on their own. This position is Monday to Friday, and if needed Saturdays 8-hour days from mid November to end of February.

Kent is the largest retail building supply chain in Atlantic Canada. With 48 locations and an ecommerce website, our mission is to be the best source of home improvement products through superior customer service and know-how, quality products, and everyday great prices. We protect our customers and staff by hiring and training associates committed to our safety values. In addition to our retail stores, we operate truss manufacturing facilities and a wholesale drywall company. Candidate will be required to carry Drywall, must be physically fit and can lift up to 75lbs on their own. This position is Monday to Friday, and if needed Saturdays 8-hour days from mid November to end of February.
Responsibilities
- Work safely
- Use proper lifting techniques and stretching to prevent injury due to repetitive lifting
- Work with the driver or other carriers in a two-person lift
- Always assess the delivery site for hazards as the environment can change often during construction
- Capable of lifting up to 75lbs
- Safety mindset
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work outside in variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Ability to do physical work
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Bilingual - French and English
