The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, and leading the warehouse team. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting our construction teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials and maintaining optimal stock levels. Your leadership will be key to streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will also work closely with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure our warehouse operations align with the company's goals and values.

- This position will be located in Georgetown, Ontario
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, and leading the warehouse team. In this position, you will play a critical role in supporting our construction teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials and maintaining optimal stock levels. Your leadership will be key to streamlining processes, improving operational efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment. You will also work closely with suppliers, partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure our warehouse operations align with the company's goals and values.
Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Financial Management
- Develop annual warehouse budgets with the Corporate Director of DRS and Accounting.
- Regularly analyze rent vs. own decisions for equipment, providing recommendations to the Corporate Director of DRS.
- Review and update internal rental rate cards annually for consistency.
- Negotiate annual deals with preferred equipment rental vendors.
- Assist in purchasing new vehicles, trailers, and small tools while monitoring the budget.
- Inventory and Warehouse Management
- Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment and dispatch of tools and materials.
- Supervise and support warehouse staff to ensure safe, efficient, and organized work practices.
- Manage decisions on storing or disposing of materials and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are in like-new condition and properly tagged before dispatching to sites.
- Manage tool tracking programs, monitor repair costs, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement effective inventory control systems.
- Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and equipment usage for maximum productivity.
- Logistics and Coordination
- Coordinate warehouse operations, including fleet management, delivery schedules, and space optimization.
- Receive and prioritize material and equipment orders, dispatching drivers for timely pick-ups and deliveries.
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure the supply and delivery of materials aligns with field team needs.
- Collaborate with purchasing, logistics and project management teams to align operational priorities and opportunities.
- Coordinate procurement and delivery schedules to support Broccolini construction sites and internal projects.
- Implement GPS tracking for company vehicles and coordinate vehicle logs with the Corporate Director of Field Operations. Implement GPS tracking for company vehicles and coordinate vehicle logs with the Director of Field Operations.
- Operations and Vendor Management
- Source new vendors, negotiate equipment rental deals, and develop policies for order fulfillment and returns.
- Provide purchasing guidance, manage procurement of safety equipment and signage, and oversee building and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations, manage equipment certifications, and participate in project kick-off meetings for early planning and coordination.
- High school Diploma or Trade School Diploma
- Progressive warehouse leadership experience (5+ years)
- Hands-on warehouse experience with daily operations and equipment handling
- Construction Industry Knowledge is a strong asset
- Experience managing teams, conducting performance reviews and developing the team
- Valid driver’s license and knowledge of MTO regulations and legislation.

- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift and move boxes within the warehouse
- Ability to operate a lift truck when needed
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally within Ontario for vendor visits, negotiations, and project site coordination activities.
