Description
As a Senior Product Manager for Platform Infrastructure, you will own the strategy and execution for infrastructure tools and capabilities within Verily’s precision health platform to accelerate development, deployment and scaling of our solutions. The immediate focus will be on design and development of an experimentation platform (A/B testing, multivariate testing, etc.) to enable product and engineering teams to validate hypotheses quickly, accelerating innovation and maximizing business impact. Over time, this role can expand into other strategic infrastructure capabilities like increasing the flexibility of cloud deployments (e.g. tenancy, regionality, multi-cloud), improving resource quota and SLA/SLO management, or observability.

Minimum Qualifications
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $152,000 -$217,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define Vision & Roadmap: Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the experimentation platform (and future platform infrastructure capabilities) ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and client needs.
- Drive Platform Development: (e.g. Experimentation, multi-cloud capabilities, …) to develop platforms that are scalable, technically sound, and integrates seamlessly with the rest of the product infrastructure.
- Driving Execution: Define product requirements for the new platform, and follow agile processes to meticulously manage the backlog, refining user stories, and making the right trade-offs to ensure timely, high-velocity product delivery.
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for platform infra capabilities (including experiments), including ease of onboarding and velocity for 1P product teams to leverage platform infrastructure tools and capabilities.
- Manage Cross-Functional Collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Engineering/Analytics and leadership stakeholders to manage requirements and roadmap and eventually drive adoption of the new platform.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in leading the definition of product vision, building roadmaps, and managing the product development lifecycle of platform products or systems.
- Experience building multi-tenant platform products using cloud services (e.g. GCP, AWS, Azure, or similar).
- Experience driving execution across cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, clinical informaticists, and other roles to build and ship technical products in an agile environment.
- Experience leading cross-organization efforts with stakeholders from many different functions.
- MS in relevant technical field or equivalent.
- Significant experience building or using experimentation systems, e.g. A/B testing platforms, to test hypotheses and inform product direction.
- Experience building consumer- or other end user-facing applications.
- Health Care / Life Sciences Experience.
- Knowledge of HL7 FHIR.
