Your Opportunity:
As a Driver I, you will transport a range of products including, but not limited to, mail, packages, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen, in accordance with AHS standards, regulations and policies. Working independently, you must adhere to scheduled routes, as well as ad hoc requests, in a safe and courteous manner. You will be expected to perform a series of routine duties such as logging mileage, cleaning vehicles, performing pre and post vehicle inspections and reporting defects and malfunctions to management.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence. Completion of valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience driving a commercial vehicle. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 kgs. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of Provincial Hours of Service, Cargo Securement and Daily Trip Inspection training is preferred. Warehouse equipment experience (pallet jack and lift gate at docks) is preferred. Advanced driver training is also preferred.
