FRONT DESK ATTENDANT

DESCRIPTION

The Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC is currently accepting applications for a Front Desk Attendant.

We’re looking for individuals who love to make great first impressions, enjoy working with the public, can multitask effectively, and are able to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This role involves warmly welcoming guests, assisting with reservations, and providing outstanding service throughout their stay.

We're looking for professionalism, reliability, and organization as well as someone who loves working as part of a team. We'd love to see people with a year of experience, but it's much more important to us that you bring a ready to learn attitude. You'll do well in this position if you enjoy helping others, are sincere and friendly in your interactions, take pride in doing your job, and are both courteous and genuinely caring in respect to our guests and your coworkers.

This position will start part-time at around 30 hours per week, but can become full-time with benefits as we expand. Your job will start with full-time, paid training to set you up for success.

DUTIES

• You have a positive attitude and enjoy helping people
• You’re reliable, professional, and love working in a team
• You’re organized and handle busy days with a calm, confident smile
• Experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person!

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be the face of the hotel — greeting guests with genuine smiles and warm welcomes
• Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and everything in between
• Share your local knowledge to help visitors make the most of their Prince Rupert adventure
• Work closely with our housekeeping and reservations teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle phone calls, guest requests, and a few surprises along the way — no two days are the same!
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
