The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $20.64 with a maximum of $24.77.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.

Job Description
Position Purpose summary: The Kettle Coordinator ensures the smooth running of the Kettle Campaign, maximizing donations and coordination staffing (employees & volunteers).
KEY Accountabilities
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
- May assist with the recruitment of Kettle Workers (employees and Volunteers), assisting with orientation, performance management, discipline and payroll processing
- Coordinates schedule for kettle volunteers, and responds to emergency absences
- Fosters and maintains positive working relationships with kettle sites, addressing conflicts/issues as they arise
- Networks and refers to The Salvation Army, government and community social service providers to coordinate resources for the benefit of the program when necessary.
- Treat all people with respect and dignity at all times.
- May Delivers and pick up kettles to/from sites daily, ensuring the security of donations
- Hosts at kettle, as required, to ensure necessary coverage for breaks etc.
- Perform other position related duties as required.
- The performance of the job requires attentive listening(empathy to volunteers/co-workers), ability to give directions or guidance, and attention to computer work and scheduling.
- In work with the public and collecting cash, extreme caution should be used at all time with regards to safety. With the use of a Vehicle, safe use of vehicle at all times.

Managerial Responsibility
- Reports directly to Community Ministry Director
- Direct reports: Corps Officer
- The incumbent is involved in minor financial matters regularly, or on a relief basis, or has responsibility for the wise use of his/her own resources. They may be authorized to spend, disburse, or collect small amounts of cash. The Supervisor should pre-approve any spending.
- The performance of the job requires frequently transporting kettle stands, driving and occasionally hosting kettles
Education And Experience Qualifications
Education, Qualifications and Certifications:
- Completion of High School, Grade 12 or equivalent plus specialized courses of up to six(6) months.
Experience And Skilled Knowledge Requirements
Skills and Capabilities
- WHIMIS Training Fluent spoken and written English Valid Drivers license and clean driver’s abstract Criminal Record Check Excellent team and interpersonal skills Able to handle physical demands, which include lifting/carrying of items more than 20 pounds..
- Ability and willingness to undergo applicable screening and background checks successfully that are satisfactory to The Salvation Army, in its sole discretion (i.e., The Salvation Army Abuse Registry) and provide an original copy of a Background Check screening.
