Dawson Dental is seeking a licensed Periodontist to provide specialty care across our Waterloo and Hanover locations. This is an excellent opportunity to build and lead a part-time, in-house periodontal program within two thriving general practices that value collaboration, technology, and comprehensive patient care.
You’ll work with experienced teams, including treatment coordinators who manage imaging, referrals, and pre-determinations—ensuring a seamless experience for both patients and providers.

Clinical Scope & Focus

Schedule
- Waterloo & Hanover: One day every 3–4 weeks at each location (flexible scheduling available)
- Opportunity to expand frequency as the program grows

Clinical Scope & Focus
- Comprehensive Periodontal Surgery
- Soft Tissue Grafting (Free Gingival, Connective Tissue, etc.)
- Crown Lengthening and Esthetic Periodontal Procedures
- Regenerative Therapy and Guided Tissue Regeneration
- Dental Implant Placement and Maintenance
- Periodontal Maintenance and Supportive Therapy
- Collaboration with referring GPs for interdisciplinary treatment planning
- Established, high-demand patient base across two strong Dawson practices
- Fully staffed support teams, including Treatment Coordinators experienced with specialty workflows
- Seamless referral process – offices provide X-rays, photos, and pre-determination support
- Balanced billing model for CDCP and flexible scheduling
- Access to Dawson’s network of 35+ practices and specialty collaboration opportunities
- Opportunity to build and grow a sustainable, in-house periodontal program
- Licensed Periodontist (RCDSO) in good standing
- Skilled in full-scope periodontal procedures, including implants and regenerative therapy
- Excellent communicator who enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration
- Detail-oriented, patient-focused, and comfortable working autonomously
- Flexible and adaptable to a growing referral base across multiple sites

- Licensed Periodontist (RCDSO) in good standing
- Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process
- Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements
- Valid CPR certification
