Project Manager – Damage Restoration

Salary: up to $110k based on experience

Our client is a leading well established property restoration company specializing in water, fire, storm, and mold damage recovery. Their team is dedicated to helping residential and commercial clients get back to normal quickly and safely after unexpected property damage. Position Overview

They are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Damage Restoration or Project Coordinator ready to take their career to the next levelto oversee restoration projects across Oakville and Mississauga and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property restoration, insurance claims management, and customer relations. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously—from initial inspection through to completion—ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of damage restoration projects (water, fire, mold, storm, and reconstruction).
  • Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct site assessments, create estimates, and prepare detailed project scopes.
  • Communicate effectively with homeowners, adjusters, and insurance representatives.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and documentation in compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained on all job sites.
  • Handle customer concerns promptly and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Prepare and submit project reports and closing documentation.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in restoration or construction (preferred).
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT) considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of restoration processes and insurance claim procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s license.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management or restoration software (e.g., Xactimate, Encircle, RMS) is an asset.
