About This Location:

Our Home Office is located in the heart of Bloor West Village in Toronto, just steps away from Jane Subway station. This position is a hybrid role where your time will be spent in office and working from home, based on operational requirements.

About This Role

Arbor is looking for an enthusiastic social media and digital marketing specialist to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for someone who has a few years of experience in social media, enjoys writing and creating content, and is familiar with paid advertising campaigns.

You will join a team of passionate marketers who tackle many interesting challenges and have fun along the way. You’ll be surrounded by caring colleagues and hands-on, experienced leaders with a well-established Canadian company. And your skills and knowledge will ultimately contribute to meaningful experiences for the families we serve.

Job Type: Full Time, Contract (14 months)

Please note: This role is to cover an upcoming maternity leave and is not currently vacant. The projected start date is September 2025.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media - Paid

  • Creating, managing and executing paid social campaigns for Facebook and Instagram to drive awareness and lead generation
  • Optimizing campaigns and achieving specified KPIs
  • Tracking results and communicating them to key stakeholders.

Social Media - Organic

  • Writing organic posts and sourcing/creating appropriate media (image/video) to accompany the posts
  • Developing, maintaining and executing our social media content calendar, highlighting important dates to promote
  • Auditing, updating, and maintaining corporate and branch level social media profile, utilizing best practices
  • Supporting the employer brand with initiatives to attract, retain, and engage high-quality Arbor staff and stakeholders.

Email Campaigns

  • Helping the marketing team develop lead generating and nurturing content for campaigns and branches.

Website Content

  • Working with marketing team to create, test and track compelling blog content
  • Using the Content Management System to update content and make basic changes to our website (blog content, page updates, images, etc.).

Website Content Performance Tracking

  • Track and report on all social media campaign results to the broader marketing team and specific stakeholders as required.

What You Bring to the Role: Website Content

  • Degree, diploma or certificate in Marketing/Advertising or related field.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Digital Marketing and/or Social Media roles.
  • Familiarity with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
  • Experience with Facebook/Meta Ads Manager.
  • Enjoys writing and creating content.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and grammar.
  • Must be able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across various lines of business.
  • Experience using design products such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator is an asset but not a requirement.
  • Experience working with Content Management Systems is an asset.
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills with the ability to partner will all levels of the organization.
