Our Corporate Facility Management Department is looking for a dedicated Facility Worker - Power Engineer to join the team.
Position Responsibilities

The standard workweek consists of an average of 40 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor.
Compensation
Starting salary $40.31 per hour as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Our Corporate Facility Management Department is looking for a dedicated Facility Worker - Power Engineer to join the team.
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for the preventative maintenance and servicing of City buildings and heating plants.
- Does not perform any work that requires Licensed tradespersons, unless the worker is licensed in that trade.
- Performs other facilities-related duties as assigned.
- Required to be on call for one week per rotation (approximately 3-4 times per year).

- Requires a valid Alberta Driver’s License (Class 5 minimum).
- Requires Power Engineering 5th Class Certification.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of building management systems, swimming pool and arena mechanical systems.
- Experience in Building Maintenance.
- Experience as Arena Operator.
- Experience as Pool Operator.
- Certification in First Aid, WHMIS, and TDG.
