Your Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity to join our rural acute care team. Unit clerks who apply will have the opportunity to work in both Acute Care and ER. Our hospital contains 35 acute care beds on 2 units and a busy 13 bed ER. Our multidisciplinary team works closely together to service all of the needs of our residents. Lacombe is one of Alberta’s newest cities that has retained its small town feel and is located a short 15-minute drive north of Red Deer. Our facility serves the city and surrounding rural areas and communities Description: As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for the efficient flow of communication between health professionals, departments, patients and families while maintaining confidentiality of patient information. You will also be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks which may include reception, greeting and directing visitors, patients and health professionals, maintaining patient records and charts, transcribing and processing physician orders as well as scheduling patient tests and/or treatments. You will also be responsible for performing a range of administrative activities in support of the unit
