Project manager in building structure at EMS Ingénierie
Description
We are looking for a motivated intermediate engineer to play a central role in the design, technical management, and development of building structure projects. In addition to technical design, you will be involved in interdisciplinary coordination and the department's growth strategy.
Your Responsibilities
Design and Technical Expertise
- Validate and lead the design of complex and innovative structural projects.
- Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications while ensuring technical quality and compliance.
- Use advanced structural analysis software to optimize designs.
- Perform any other related tasks associated with the design and management of structural projects.
Project Management and Leadership
- Coach and mentor the project management team (designer-technicians and CPIs) in advancing mandates.
- Review and coordinate ongoing work in collaboration with all project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the administrative team in developing technical and commercial service proposals.
Strategic Development
- Ensure profitability and rigorous monitoring of projects under your responsibility.
- Participate in client meetings and present developed technical solutions.
- Conduct site and office supervision as required by project needs.
You are the right person for this position if:
- You hold a bachelor's degree in construction engineering or civil engineering.
- You have accumulated over 5 years of experience and are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- You demonstrate leadership with a dynamic, responsible, and autonomous approach to project management.
- You are proficient in structural analysis software and advanced calculation methods.
