The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative and clerical support relating to the administration of parking on campus for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Reporting to the Manager of Parking Services, this position is responsible for efficient delivery of the cashiering, administrative, and clerical support relating to the administration of parking on campus. Work is complex and varied and requires the interpretation of detailed guidelines, policies, and procedures. This includes items such as reconciling daily transactions, coordinating event parking for on and off campus customers, and gathering and applying data for reports and invoicing

What You’ll Do:
- Demonstrate high quality customer service while performing administrative and clerical tasks.
 - Reconciling daily transaction reports and transmittals.
 - Selling, issuing and recording permit information for all University parking areas.
 - Answering and or redirecting parking and citation inquiries via front counter, phone and email
 - UPASS correspondence to students.
 - Effectively manage time and task
 - Maintain a professional appearance and comply with the expected dress code
 
- Must be enrolled and registered in a program of study at the University of Regina (or one of its Federated Colleges); full-time students preferred
 
Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role:
- Experience working in customer service role.
 - Experience working in an office setting is an asset.
 - Required to work assigned schedule of days and evenings (some weekend/nights associated with campus events); demonstrated comfort in working independently in an after-hours role.
 - Must provide a current police record check prior to starting employment.
 - Strong critical thinking skills and demonstration of sound judgment in the event of an emergency and/or crisis.
 - Demonstrate positive, high quality, customer service-oriented attitude.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 - Ability to manage situations where conflict may escalate; ability to confidently de-escalate a situation and/or implement procedures for contacting Protective Services for support.
 - Awareness and ability to work with a culturally diverse community.
