Job Description:
The IT Manager is in charge of overseeing day to day function of the IT Department, including supervising staff, managing networks and systems, and all computer software/hardware. The tasks also include development and training to the IT staff, improving existing processes, strengthen cyber security and internal controls, developing work schedules, and delegating the workload. The IT Manager will also be responsible to develop optimization strategies and provide excellent customer service, internally and externally. The IT Manager needs to ensure they keep up to date of developments in the IT field and have the ability to quickly diagnose tech-related problems, ability to meet deadlines and keep their team focused and efficient.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing existing computer systems and making recommendations for upgrades and improvements.
 - Managing networks and making improvements to setup, switches and infrastructure in conjunction with our parent company
 - Developing and overseeing the installation of systems, which include software and hardware
 - Performing tests and troubleshooting, as well as quality assurance
 - Implementing safety procedures and data recovery plans
 - Recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members, as well as managing their workload and performance
 - Developing user manuals, as well as policies, procedures and safety protocols
 - Collaborating with other departments and professionals in the development of IT systems
 - Ensuring all installations, maintenance and upgrades are carried out on schedule and to client specifications
 - Delegating tasks and developing budgets and work schedules
 - Manage IT Assets and service vendors
 - Establish IT Governance methodology
 - Develop backup, DRP and BCP
 - Manage IT Budgets including CapEx, OpEx, and employee planning
 - Stay up-to-date with field advancements and ensure that the team receives refresher training as well
 - Align IT goals and plans with business plan
 - Ensures team members are treated with respect and encourage an atmosphere of openness and fairness at all times
 - Other duties as required
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
 - 3 - 5 Years proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services preferred
 - Management experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation and programming switches
 - Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security
 - Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office 365, and exchange
 - Management and Leadership skills
 - Multi-tasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
 - Excellent communication, presentation, meeting facilitation and interpersonal skills
 - Highly organized and detail oriented
 - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
 - Cisco environment experience, switches, routers, WLC, access point
 - Professional appearance and manners
 - Attention to detail in all areas of work
