The Process Improvement Specialist will play a key role in the ongoing process improvement initiatives of BioScript Solutions and will report to the Director of Acceleration. This individual will be involved in process mapping and modelling, analysis, design, implementation and performance monitoring.

Improvement projects could range from helping to plan and implement day-to-day corrective actions, to large-scale transformation projects. This individual will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of process models for our multiple businesses.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Complete process mapping, modelling, analysis, and design to ensure optimal performance and continuous improvements across operations;
  • Prepare, facilitate and present findings and recommendations to multiple business units and multiple levels of management in person and virtually;
  • Plan, execute, and monitor process improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery, management of risks and change, and adherence to standards;
  • Support the identification of process improvement initiatives through monitoring process performance data;
  • Extensive collaboration with all core business and enablement teams throughout the organization;
  • Responsible to report any patient safety information as per adverse event reporting requirements and product quality complaints reporting requirements;
  • Other duties as required.

What You’ll Bring To Our Team

  • A minimum of 7+ years' experience planning, implementing and managing change for process improvement projects;
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in a science or engineering related field'
  • Training and/or certification in one or more process management disciplines and/or methodologies such as Business Process Management, Lean Six Sigma, or others, is preferred;
  • Training and/or certification in root cause analysis, project management and change management are considered strong assets;
  • Knowledge and experience working with BPMN 2.0 or other modelling languages;
  • Knowledge of pharmacy and/or infusion clinic, patient support program and drug wholesale operations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of provincial college of pharmacy and Health Canada regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical supply chain is an asset.
