Under the general direction of the SAP Business Systems Analyst Lead, the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for
assisting the adoption and implementation of SAP HRMS solutions. This suite includes e-Recruitment, Payroll, Employee Self
Service, Manager Self Service and related interfaces. The individual must be technically knowledgeable, highly skilled and able to
work independently in all aspects of their role. The Business Systems Analyst will perform requirements analysis and process
improvement. Working within the SAP Applications team, the individual will specialize in the analysis, solution evaluation and
implementation of the various HR products and contribute to product adoption and development of a roadmap.
As part of the ongoing S/4HANA implementation, the BSA will also be assigned to project activities involving SAP SuccessFactors
and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). Knowledge and experience in these areas are required to support system design, integration,
data migration, and functional testing across hybrid SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide complex application problem resolution and user assistance relating to SAP HRMS processes and interfaces between
- Handle routine to moderately complex configuration of the SAP system to incorporate changes needed to maintain and
- Responsible for system testing related to enhancements, problem resolution, upgrades, support pack installs, or SAP projects.
- Under the guidance of a senior business systems analyst, will work on routine to moderately complex SAP system
enhancements. This includes soliciting and documenting business requirements, gathering development and implementation
estimates, developing technical specifications for system developer, liaising with the developers, developing test scripts,
executing and analyzing test results, and assisting with rolling out changes to the user community.
- Engage with external teams (e.g. SAP, ASUG, Consultants, Contractors) to identify a solution path using existing tools within

- May lead testing initiatives and may develop test strategies.
- Constantly learn new ways to solve SAP technical challenges more effectively.
- Stay on top of roadmap announcements and new services within SAP HRMS.
- Provide guidance, mentoring and technical direction to junior staff.
- May be required to direct or participate in the development, coordination, and delivery of end user training.
- Participate in the ongoing S/4HANA implementation project, including fit-gap analysis, functional design, and testing of HRMS
- Support the deployment and integration of SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding,
Learning) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).

Qualifications:
- A four-year Bachelor degree (Commerce with Management of Information Systems (MIS) major preferred, or a related

- A two-year Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline from an institute of recognized standing plus a minimum of
OR
- Grade 12 and a Business Analyst Certificate plus a minimum of six years related business analyst experience.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to perform key business systems analysis including moderately complex
requirements gathering and documentation, development of specifications for system changes, comprehensive system
testing, analysis of test results, and system problem resolution.
- Experience with moderately complex configuration, support and maintenance of the SAP system in the Payroll, e-Recruitment,
asset.
- Good working knowledge of the Human Resources business processes, policies and practices with a strong knowledge of
Safety Management application modules.
- Possess a general knowledge of integration points between SAP HRMS and other SAP modules (e.g. Finance, Controlling) or
- General understanding of the System Development Lifecycle, related tools, and methodology (e.g. ServiceNow, Macroscope,
- Possess strong personal computer skills, with a demonstrated ability keep up to date with various business software's (e.g.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver end user system training.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and security of highly sensitive personal information.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $39.27-$54.35 Hourly,
$75,242.70-$104,154.96 Annually.
